علمت شمال بوست أن صاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس سيشرف خلال زيارته المرتقبة لولاية تطوان، على إعطاء الانطلاقة لعدد من المشاريع التنموية وتحديث للبنية التحتية بمدنية مرتيل.
وهكذا من المنتظر أن يشرف جلالته على إعطاء الانطلاقة لبناء مستشفى مدني بمدنية مرتيل أسوة بالمضيق والفنيدق، بالإضافة إلى إعادة تهيئة وهيكلة حي الديزة والتي ستشمل قنوات الصرف الصحي والإنارة العمومية وتعبيد الأزقة داخل الحي الذي يعتبر بؤرة سوداء بمدينة مرتيل.
كما من المنتظر أن يتم خلال هذه الزيارة إعطاء الانطلاقة لأشغال مد كورنيش مرتيل إلى غاية حي الديزة، وبناء مركز للنساء في وضعية صعبة.
وعاينت شمال بوست الاستعدادات المكثفة التي تقوم بها السلطات المحلية، ترقبا للزيارة الملكية، حيث حل عامل عمالة المضيق – الفنيدق شخصيا يوم الأحد للاطلاع على سير الاستعدادات حتى تمر الزيارة الملكية في أحسن الظروف.
وفي سياق متصل تم قطع الطريق الرابطة بين كابونيكرو ومرتيل لإعادة هيكلة قنطرة الواد المالح، كما تعرف الطريق الرابطة بين كابونيكرو والمضيق أشغال توسعة حيث ستتحول إلى طريق رباعية بعد أن كانت ثنائية.
ومن المنتظر أن تساهم هذه المشاريع في الرفع من مستوى الخدمات الصحية بمرتيل، ورفع التهميش عن حي الديزة العشوائي والذي يعد بؤرة سوداء داخل مدينة مرتيل، حيث عرف مرارا وتكرارا حالات احتجاج للساكنة على وضعية التهميش الذي يعيشها الحي وخاصة عندما تشرع السلطات المحلية في هدم المنازل العشوائية دون اتخاذ خطوات ناجعة للنهوض بهذا الحي.
